Dr. Beth Pollock
Ph.D., C.Psych.
Dr. Beth Pollock is a Clinical Neuropsychologist who specializes in neurodevelopmental disorders, including Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder, in children, adolescents, and adults. She earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Bond University in 2002 and subsequently worked as a Psychometrist for Education Queensland and the Upper Canada District School Board. After deciding to pursue further education in the field of assessment, she completed a Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Windsor in 2010. While completing her studies, Dr. Pollock worked for various post-secondary institutions as a Professor and Consultant. Since graduating with her doctorate, Dr. Pollock worked as a Psychologist for the Dual Diagnosis Consultation Outreach Team in Kingston.
She currently works with the Regional Assessment Resource Centre at Queen’s University conducting Psycho-Educational and Neuropsychological Assessments for various post-secondary institutions, supervising graduate/post-graduate students, and providing peer review services for other practitioners in Ontario. In addition, Dr. Pollock has a private practice and works as a consultant to a Children’s Treatment Centre.
Rebecca Hinkson
M.Sc., C.Psych. Assoc.
Rebecca Hinkson completed her B.A in Psychology at The University of Western in 2006. She furthered her studies in completing her M.Sc. degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica in 2008. She has since worked in Eastern Ontario in a variety of institutions including the Limestone District School Board, Regional Assessment and Resource Centre at Queen’s University, and, most recently, the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario.
Her services include Psycho-educational Assessments with children, adolescents, and adults. Rebecca is a registered Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
Bonnie Woodside
Bonnie works part-time for our office in the roles of psychometrist and administrative assistant. She is typically the individual answering your calls, scheduling appointments, and fielding your questions. Bonnie has also received extensive training in the administration of psychometric assessment measures, particularly those in the areas of academic achievement, memory, and attention.
Typically undertaken to determine whether an underlying neurodevelopmental disorder, behavioural issue, and/or mental health difficulty is affecting the student’s academic, social, and/or family functioning.
